Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations

About You

Nutrafol is seeking a Senior Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations to join our growing team. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be a critical thinker, problem solver, and key collaborator whose mission is to support groups across Nutrafol through leading all sourcing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and logistics functions. This role will also work closely with the accounting, inventory, science, safety & quality, product, and finance/analytics teams. They will also set and monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinating cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. 

Job Description: 

• Execute and implement complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across Nutrafol’s operations.
• Lead all supply chain, operations, fulfillment, and customer-facing interactions.
• Manage a team within Supply Chain and Operations, making sure that objectives are clearly defined and achievable in a timely manner, while driving and optimizing team performance, and developing each individual within your team.
• Conduct deep dive analysis on current operations and drive cost reduction initiatives. 
• Monitor processes and ensure best practices are shared among all manufacturing locations.
• Plan and support the development of long-term organizational strategy, including order fulfillment forecast for all 3PLs, create overall product launch SOPs, and warehouse operations process SOPs.
• Operate as the key contact point to help build models for network design and optimization.
• Assist in developing weekly and monthly leadership reports.
• Dive deep into forecasting planning models to identify risks and opportunities and resolve constraints.
• Create projects to improve operational efficiency, and identify threats and opportunities across the organization.
• Manage contracts with suppliers and manufacturers by reviewing and monitoring SLAs.
• Conduct research and analysis of operational effectiveness and processes. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business-related field, Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 15+ years of experience in a Supply Chain/Operations role within a manufacturing environment
• 15+ years of experience leading people and/or coaching a team, possessing a track record of hiring, leading, and training high-performing teams
• Experience in the Vitamins, Minerals, Supplement (VMS) space 
• Experience with expansion into international markets
• Shows visionary thinking and demonstrates expert knowledge to solve complex, organization-wide, or externally-facing issues 
• Excellent understanding of supply chain operations and systems
• Proven record of successful cost savings projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to create, build, and expand international supply chain ecosystems
• "Rolodex" of contacts or network in cost savings, international, retail, high growth, and automation
• Familiarity with supply chain management and all associated activities (sourcing, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, planning, and project management) 
• Experience in mid-large-size companies
