About the Role

Responsibilities: Design and architect operational data models. Work with multiple data sources such as Discovery, Salesforce, Pardot, Yahoo, Bloomberg, Edgar, and Trades, on data retrieval techniques.  Design database models to incorporate normalization methods and implement partition techniques.  Use SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server 2008 R2, Oracle 10g, Windows, and Linux. Build scripts to handle data normalization techniques. Apply business rules and techniques to data and data rules per business needs and demand.  Read and write data back and forth from salesforce. Create logics to update custom salesforce fields that help business users filter dial lists.  Manage and maintain Azure Infrastructure, including database and Data Factory with Virtual Machines, SQL Servers, IIS, and other Parsing tools. Design Enterprise Data Warehouses from scratch and build data marts and dimension modeling techniques.  Normalize and de-normalize data to support business needs and add sources to help data analysis and reporting.  Design tracking techniques on custom salesforce fields with SCD (Slowly Changing Dimension) techniques and prepare batch jobs to process rolling return data.  Automate and schedule jobs to balance load on the server and schedule maintenance windows for upgrades and data migration.  Build reports for different business needs and create Power BI reports and analytics.  Design data marts as per analytic needs and design the cube for analytics on huge datasets and data marts. 

Salary: $205,000 - $240,000/year

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or seven years of experience software application development. Experience must include seven years each of the following: design of ETL jobs using SSIS and invoking them using Shell script through Autosys; design database models to incorporate normalization methods; implement partition techniques; SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server SR 2008, Oracle, 10g, Windows and Unix. Experience may be gained concurrently.
