Job Description

Smartsheet is a tech company with a human story to tell. We’re here to empower teams to manage projects, automate workflows, and rapidly build new secure solutions, using simple no-code tools. We’re revolutionaries – so for us changing the way the world works is all in a day’s work.

Smartsheet is in search of an accomplished Senior Video Producer-Editor to join our Brand Studio. You are a stellar teammate, someone who is passionate about narrative, storytelling, and the craft specifics of shooting and editing original video productions. You are an excellent collaborator, confident in your craft, while open to the input and benefit of working with others. You understand the power of empathy and listening, both in giving and receiving, and how that exchange feeds the creative process. You work well with creative collaborators, marketing stakeholders, and have experience working with senior corporate executives. You know that B2B work doesn't have to be stiff or expected, because, after all, 100% of businesses are made up of actual humans. And, you balance that knowledge with curiosity. Because while the journey and process may vary, all that matters is creating something that the whole team can be proud of.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Creative Strategy. You may be based remotely but need to be proximate to our corporate offices in Bellevue, Washington.

You Will:

  • Bring stories to life in a visually compelling way, pushing the creative boundaries while staying true to brand guidelines.
  • Be an in-house creative expert, working with brand and creative teams to powerfully bring the Smartsheet brand to life with motion graphics, animation, and live action footage.
  • Translate marketing activities into gorgeous designs.
  • Command a high level of craft, polish, and attention to detail.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming, planning, and objective creation to ensure marketing design and strategy is on message and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Produce motion/video material for campaigns, editorial, web (that covers sites, landing pages and blogs unless we want to be specific), presentations, events, sponsorships, social media and more.
  • Fearlessly ask questions when you are out of your depth.
  • Support other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • 8 or more years of experience producing content in a marketing environment.
  • An understanding of video production, motion graphics and animation skills, audio recording and mixing.
  • A portfolio that shows outstanding creative and storytelling capabilities.
  • End-to-end production experience, with a history of meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities and partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premier, After Effects, and Photoshop at minimum, preferably full suite) -- particularly in motion graphics animation.
  • Knowledge of YouTube best practices.
  • Comfortable working closely with essential executives and business leaders.
  • Form relationships and partner with stakeholders throughout the business, including executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Film, Animation, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications)
  • Desired: continued ability to learn plug-ins and adjacent environments, because our team is constantly adapting. Examples include Cinema4D, DaVinci Resolve, Overlord (connects AfterEffects with Illustrator), Figma (for staging product UI).

US Perks & Benefits:

  • HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or Buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees
  • Stock - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for eligible roles
  • Lucrative Employee Stock Purchase Program (15% discount)
  • 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay)
  • Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity
  • Flexible Time Away Program, plus Incidental Sick Leave
  • US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans
  • US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year
  • Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave
  • Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses
  • Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account
  • Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific)

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
