Our Ways of Working

We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees. 

We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.

What the Role Is

Babylist is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product design and email teams to elevate and refine our brand visuals across multiple channels. As a key member of our design team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our brand identity and user experience.

Who You Are

• 5-7 years of design experience across multiple digital channels
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and other design tools, coupled with a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
• Strong understanding and involvement working within email platforms. You understand the impact of email on the brand and stay up to date on ever evolving trends
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the skill required to bring these principles to life with a brand forward focus
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively conveying design concepts and advocate for user-centric design principles
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with ease
• Proactive, self­ motivated, team player with little to no ego. You have a can-do attitude. You get things done. A problem solver. You are resourceful, diligent, have a strong attention to detail.
• Nice to haves: Experience working with Iterable Software, Motion Graphics

How You Will Make An Impact

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, design and innovate our growing brand
• Dive deep into understanding user behaviors and preferences, leveraging insights to inform design decisions that resonate with our audience.
• Conceptualize and craft designs that not only adhere to brand guidelines but also foster a sense of connection and delight for our users.
• Work closely with the product design team to ensure consistent visual language across all digital platforms.
• Partner with the email teams to create engaging and impactful email designs that drive customer engagement and conversion.
• Develop and own a design system for our email platform to ensure that work is consistent
• Provide constructive feedback and coach designers to help them grown and learn.
• Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve our brand visuals.

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The estimated pay range for this role is $99,400.00 - $149,400.00

In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
