Senior Visual Designer

The position We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to become a pivotal part of the creative team at PixelCraft Studio in Austin. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will: • Craft visually stunning and strategically grounded designs for digital platforms, including websites, apps, and social media. • Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of UX designers, content strategists, and developers to deliver holistic and impactful digital experiences. • Manage multiple projects concurrently, acting as the primary visual design lead and client liaison to ensure design objectives are achieved. • Utilize a variety of design tools and software to create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and animations. • Conduct visual research and analysis to inform design decisions, ensuring alignment with brand standards and current design trends. • Develop and maintain visual design documentation (style guides, design templates, and brand guidelines) to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture. ‍ Background • BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. • 7+ years of professional experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects. • Expert proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Sketch, and Figma. • A solid understanding of web and mobile design principles, including responsive design and accessibility standards. • Experience with branding, typographic, and interactive design, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working alongside UX researchers, copywriters, and technical teams. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
