Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring an Weapons Systems Requirements Engineer, to support our recently awarded $2.3bil TEAMS Next contract. Our Team provides system engineering support to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) strategic planning for the Missile Defense System. Our extensive experience in the cleared space, combined with your technical knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance.
In this role, you will support Missile Defense Agency Systems Engineering Requirement's mission to define Defense of Guam test requirements for the IMTP and event test planning. This position is critical for meeting Phase 1 requirements for IMTP to include long lead testing requirements.

In this role, you will support Missile Defense Agency Systems Engineering Requirement's mission to define Defense of Guam test requirements for the IMTP and event test planning. This position is critical for meeting Phase 1 requirements for IMTP to include long lead testing requirements.
Duties:
- Performs technical Missile Defense System Assessments to support Senior Leadership and Warfighter stakeholders in making fielding decisions for the sensors, battle managers, communications, and weapons systems of the Missile Defense System (MDS).
- Provide direct technical support to the MDA by performing analysis of MDS requirements to support the technical rigor of test conditions, analytical support to system assessment leads, and synthesis and visualization of data to communicate key technical aspects of MDS performance.
Required Skills:
- Master's Degree in STEM Field with 12 + years of relevant experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Strong background in analysis and requirements definition
- Knowledge of the Weapon Systems, especially MDS radars
- Ability to present analysis results to various levels of personnel
- Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
- Synthesis of technical information to assess the technical performance of the MDS
Desired Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of Ballistic Missile and Air Defense weapon systems
- Detailed knowledge of Ballistic Missile and Air Breathing Threats
- Knowledge of the Weapon Systems, especially MDS radars
- Expertise in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) Battle Command and Control (IBCS)
- Understanding of Area Air Defense Plans (AADP) and Blue Force Designs
