Job Summary: 

Aeris Communications is seeking a Senior Web Developer with a solid background in software architecture & development of Web & Frontend applications, and a passion for working with cutting edge technology. 
In this role, you will be working in a small, fast-paced development team, collaborating with other developers, product management, and quality assurance. This is a great position where you will be making a direct impact in the development of our market-leading IoT solutions while working and learning from top talent in this booming industry!

Responsibilities:

• Play a Lead Developer role in building Web/Frontend applications, owning how the application is architected and building world-class applications.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Provide technical expertise in the feature design and act as guard of code and product quality.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.
• Collaborate with Backend team to ensure the software interfaces between the web applications and backend meet the product and software requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define interfaces ensuring that the overall product experience is smooth, fast and effective for the user.
• Collaborate with Quality team to ensure that the software are released with highest quality and on time.

Qualifications:

•  You must have a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• At least 5-7 years of software engineering experience and 5 years of Web development experience.
•  Strong computer science, data structure and database concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Solid knowledge of ReactJS, AngularJS & NodeJS frameworks.
• Experience with Redux and browser-based debugging.
•  Proven experience in cloud based deployment such as GCP or AWS.
• Deep understanding of the intricacies of the web apps ecosystem and ability to apply this knowledge to complex engineering projects.
• Willingness and ability to learn, adapt and keep up with the every-changing world of Web Technologies.
•  Commitment to proper software engineering practices – design, testing, documentation, code reviews etc
• Have a strong quality mindset and deliver features on time with high quality.
• Experienced in consuming RESTful services.
• Knowledgeable of Agile and enjoy working with Agile process
• Should be proactive, self-starter and self-managed
• Since we have a very collaborative environment, you must have strong written and verbal skills.
• Experience working in a scrum/agile development environment.

Nice to Have:

•  Experience with mobile applications, iOS, Android is a plus.
•  You have previous experience working with geographically distributed teams.
