About The Role: 

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Web Developer to join our team and take our web applications to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and be able to create visually appealing, intuitive, and performant user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex web applications and WordPress-based websites, ensuring that they are efficient, secure, and user-friendly. You should have proven technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Leading code reviews, ensuring that code is well-documented, maintainable, and adheres to best practices. 
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including functional specifications. 
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, and making recommendations to the team on the adoption of new tools and frameworks.
• Optimizing web applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Identifying and solving complex problems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks effectively.

What We Are Looking For: 

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on front-end technologies.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
•  Advanced experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and design patterns.
• Extensive WordPress experience, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Experience with front-end build tools such as webpack or gulp.
• Experience with back-end development and integration.
• Comfort using version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

What will Make You Stand Out:

• 5+ years working as a Javascript software developer using the React framework, or ability to demonstrate an expert level of knowledge and aptitude.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and functionality.
• Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks.
• Expertise in website optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices..
• Understanding custom integrations with third-party tools and services.

Travel Requirements: 

• Less than 5%
