Senior Web Software Development Lead - 2797186

US Citizenship and the ability to pass and maintain a Federal government (Public Trust) clearance is required for this position.

While primarily remote, this role may require occasional on-site work. The selected candidate must live within commuting distance of Washington, D.C.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead development activities in support of major mission critical transportation safety applications
• Oversee work of an integrated team of developers and database administrators

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• At least 10 years of software development experience using Java
• Experience leading a team of developers
• Senior level development technical expertise
• Training and education with nascent technologies
• Experience with database technologies, team collaboration tools, e.g. Jira, and deployment platforms, e.g. Jenkins or Git.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Three or more years of experience with AWS technologies

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience required
