Sr. Website Manager, Marketing Site

Alma is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Marketing Website Senior Manager. In this role you will set the strategy for optimizing Alma’s marketing site, own governance of the content management system and other website strategy and management tools, and contribute to traffic and conversion growth. This role requires a high level of collaboration with teams to plan and deliver seamless web experiences across the consumer and provider journeys. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven, customer-centric mindset and a strong technical background. This role will have immense influence over the direction of our marketing website, and is critical to driving sustainable consumer and provider growth for the organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our website visitors through data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships (Analytics, Content, Research). Use understanding to craft overall site strategy and/or information architecture
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Creative, Development, and Product teams to implement site experiences for campaigns, product initiatives, tests, and always-on programs
  • Analyze the journey and develop, refine, and implement short and long-term web optimization and experimentation strategies that drive efficiency, from landing pages to UI enhancements
  • Lead technical search engine optimization initiatives; collaborate with the Content Marketing team on content development and opportunities that improve website traffic and performance
  • Onboard new website MarTech, for the purpose of tracking traffic, monitoring performance, testing, personalization, and analyzing behavior
  • Establish systems of governance, standards, technical requirements, and define resources needed to implement site strategies
  • Monitor website uptime; quickly respond to and troubleshoot website errors
  • Establish KPIs, analyze and monitor page performance and behavior across site landing pages
  • Generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies and uncover areas of opportunity to improve the user experience

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on website management, optimization and development experience.
  • You possess strong knowledge in HTML/CSS/Javascript and technical SEO.
  • You have experience managing cross-functional partners through agile development processes.
  • You are an expert in CMS management and governance, with the ability to build processes.
  • You have experience managing governance of site health, behavior, personalization and testing MarTech.
  • You are well versed in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Moz, SEMRush, Looker),
  • You have experience leading hypothesis-driven A/B testing programs, from experiment design to execution and reporting.
  • You are an expert at using data and insights to inform requirements, ideas, and strategies.
  • You can comfortably oscillate between strategy and tactical optimizations. 
  • You may possess front-end and back-end web development experience.
  • You love establishing processes for the purpose of driving progress and results. You design feedback loops into your work.
  • You have experience managing a B2B & B2C brand's website, and improving core site metrics to meet organizational goals
  • You have a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style.

Salary Band: $125,000-$160,000

Alma’s compensation philosophy is driven by our company value of building equity.
