Senior Windows Engineer

Gray Tier Technologies is searching for a Senior Windows Engineer to support one of our Defense customers in Fort Belvoir Virginia. 

Basics:

• At least a Secret clearance (DoD would be best)
• Sec+ CE or equivalent
• Windows cert

Skills:

• Experience using Microsoft Server (2016, 2019, and 2022 are good; 2012 is out of date by now) and various roles within the Server family (DNS, Active Directory, DHCP)
• Experience with applying STIGs and fixing vulnerabilities
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell probably but languages like Bash or Python would work)
• Experience troubleshooting user issues (desktop mainly, so experience with Windows 10 is good, Windows 11 is ok)
• Virtualization experience (preferably VMWare)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with SCCM/MECM and Software Center (both setting up and configuring, but also maintaining and creating new packages for Software Center)
• Experience with ELK/SPLUNK/ArcSight; log aggregation software
• Experience with databases
