Senior Windows Security Engineer

Job Description:

DTN is seeking a Sr Windows Security Engineer to join the Security team to perform independent internal audits and reviews and manage security controls and implementations to ensure DTN is providing the highest levels of self-monitoring in support of ISO27001 and best security practice standards.

The chosen individual must possess a senior level Windows Administration background and have experience with both physical and cloud architectures. You will report to the Security team management and provide recommendations for improvements in security at DTN.

Functions:

• Act as an overall Microsoft Windows security expert
• Perform security reviews of Microsoft Architecture/Infrastructure, Tools, and Security posture for DTN's physical and cloud assets
• Recommend and manage security configurations related to Microsoft infrastructure such as Servers and Endpoints, 365 Defender, AD, and DLP systems, etc.
• Provide ISO27001 internal and external audit support
• Perform security reviews of 3rd party acquisition status

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science with a minimum of 10-15 years of IT experience or equivalent work experience
• Sr Windows administration experience with physical and cloud systems
• Possess technical understanding of Microsoft related communications, protocols, networking, design elements, architecture
• Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint security tools and their use
• Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint security enhancements for servers
• Knowledge of 365 Defender security enhancements
• Defender for Cloud apps security enhancements, recommendations
• Experience managing AD, security options, and best practices
• Experience with Microsoft related DLP support
• Experience planning strategically and tactically for future needs while ensuring that processes are in place to monitor current usage
• Experience handling multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
