Senior Workday Analyst
Job Description
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking to hire a Senior Workday Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology team. The Senior Workday Analyst will design, build, implement, and provide ongoing technical solutions for the Workday HCM and Workday Financial Management modules. They will work closely with our IT, People, and Finance teams, and interact with a variety of external partners such as consultants and third-party support services.
The role requires strong Workday administration experience, as well as exceptional organizational and communication skills. It’s critical that the individual in this role has deep functional knowledge of Workday, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide robust scalable solutions in collaboration with our operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Own troubleshooting, configuration, and training of the Workday HCM and Workday Financial Management suites and associated integrations
- Provide ongoing technical and operational support for Workday in a live environment
- Assist with architecting solutions in Workday HCM and Workday Financial Management based on business goals, stakeholder requirements, data mapping, and best practices
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing initiatives, and act as the main point of contact for feedback, gaps, errors, and performance issues with Workday
- Serve as technical advisor for issues such as security, authentication, and configuration
- Collaborate extensively with third party consultants and vendors to maintain project timelines and technical alignment
Qualifications
- 5+ years Workday administration experience
- Extensive working knowledge of Workday modules and feature releases including but not limited to: Payroll, Onboarding, core HCM, Security, Time Tracking, Benefits, EIBs and Reporting preferred (Integrations a plus)
- Ability to translate unstructured stakeholder requirements into actionable Workday configuration updates; designing for scalability and manageable future maintenance
- Substantial awareness of security, data governance, change management, and other risk-related philosophies
- Familiarity with the HR and finance systems ecosystem including but not limited to: Greenhouse, HazelTree, Namely, Workiva, Elasticsearch
- Exposure to hyper-growth of people/HR and finance/accounting business operations
Annual base salary range of $125,000 to $225,000. Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to company-paid medical and/or other benefits.
