Carter's Workday team is growing!
As a Senior Workday Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the HCM module of Workday. This responsibility includes serving as the subject matter expert to provide both technical and strategic Workday-related guidance through system issues, enhancements, and releases. In this role, you will also have input on business process reviews, assessments, and modifications, supporting our ever-evolving business needs
This role will report to the Director of Workday.
This role is based in our Buckhead HQ, with a hybrid, on-site schedule.
What you'll do:
Workday Support (70%)
- Provide consultation to HR Business Partners, gather requirements, provide solutions, and impact analysis. Document, configure, test, and evaluate Business Process changes.
- HR Technology partner supporting designated Human Capital Management (HCM) areas in Workday to serve as the subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.
- Act as a key escalation resource and provide Tier 3 technical support for production issues, including researching and resolving technical issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions to meet business requirements.
- Maintain master data values in Workday and data integrity by developing processes to audit, analyze, and resolve potential issues.
- Provide input and knowledge sharing with other HR Technology partners, HR Business Partners, and other clients as appropriate. Participate in training to improve policy and process compliance.
- Assist with ongoing Workday hyper-care support and HR Admin role duties.
- Offer consulting services to HR Business Partners, gathering their requirements, devising solutions, and conducting impact analyses. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting, configuring, testing, and evaluating changes in Business Processes.
- Serve as an HR Technology collaborator, specializing in designated Human Capital Management (HCM) domains within Workday. Your role will encompass being the authoritative source on current and forthcoming capabilities of Workday.
- Play a pivotal role as a primary resource for escalation, providing Tier 3 technical support for production issues. This includes delving into research to resolve technical problems, unexpected outcomes, or procedural glitches. Your expertise will be crucial in proposing solutions aligned with business needs.
- Ensure the integrity of master data values in Workday and uphold data consistency by devising processes for auditing, scrutinizing, and rectifying potential issues.
- Participate in knowledge exchange with other HR Technology partners, HR Business Partners, and relevant clients, training on essential policies and processes.
- Assist in continuous Workday hyper-care support efforts and fulfill responsibilities associated with the HR Admin role.
Workday Release Testing/Training (30%)
- Train and mentor new system technical users/workstream leads, as well as support the development of user procedures, job aids, guidelines, and documentation.
- Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday. Lead associated deployment activities inclusive of communication, regression testing, data, and integration validation, downstream impact analysis, and overall system performance
- Proactively provide input to support and improve the change management strategy to ensure effective and efficient communications.
- Internal and external communication; Workday community forums; Application Support Teams
- Be the decision maker for what information gets distributed internally and externally and to whom the information is relevant (i.e. governmental agencies)
We'd Love to hear from you if:
Must have:
- 3+ years of Workday experience or training, technical capabilities to collect information to understand and assess clients' needs and requirements (system configuration)
- Consultative approach, and excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with HR clients, cross-functional partners, and external resources.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems (critical thinker). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; advanced Excel skills including data validation, formulas, and pivot tables
- Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management.
- Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent years of related work experience.
Preferred skills and experience:
- HR functional and system experience preferred.
- PHR/SHPR preferred.
