Senior Workday Financials Administrator
Job Description
The system that Nomads will rely upon most is Workday. We are looking for an expert with experience standing up Workday Financials, integrating existing systems, building custom integrations/reports, and recommending best practices on how to use Workday to its fullest potential. This role will work within the technology team, partnering with the Financials business team and industry subject matter experts within the organization, project managers as well as vendors for integrations with 3rd party applications. This Senior Workday Financial Engineer/Administrator/Technical Manager will collaborate with the technology and business teams to track new features in Workday service releases to understand the impact to the Nomad ecosystem/environment. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Participate in and implement Nomad’s Workday plan/strategy
- Support and communicate Workday releases and enhancements and help Nomad maximize the capabilities of systems by researching and recommending new functionality with a goal of supporting operational excellence
- Configure and maintain Financials Business Process Definitions, FI Administration, FDM, Expenses, Procurement, Banking Settlement, Suppliers, Customers, FDM, Accounting Posting Rules, AR, AP, GL, Adaptive, custom worktags, organizational worktags, etc.
- Enable and ensure the integrity and optimization of following processes: lead-to-cash, procure-to-pay, month-end/year-end, Audits, etc
- Create feature and custom field or report requests using Nomad’s ticketing system and facilitate prioritizing/ranking them based on needs
- Design, document, develop and support custom new/existing integrations, processing schedules, calculated fields, reports and workflow.
- Help implement and test new functionalityÂ
- Communicate system changes and enhancements to the user community
- Work with stakeholders in the organization to understand their use cases, propose technical solutions and implement those solutionsÂ
- Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation to support usage, knowledge transfer and change management programs
Qualifications/Skills - What You Will Need
- Subject Matter Expert around Workday Financials design, structure, functions and processes, with 4+ years of practical Workday system administrationÂ
- Significant experience including responsibility for system configuration, access management, testing, and providing user support
- In depth knowledge on XSLT, XSLT and experience coding, troubleshooting and testing XPATH and XSLT, XML, SOAP and REST Based Services.
- Hands on experience with Workday business processes and Integrations tool set including Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, Studio, EIB integrations and Core Connectors.
- Deep technical knowledge and experience with with Workday integrationsÂ
- Experienced at understanding of business process best practices and the ability to understand key HR/Finance concepts, cross functional touch points and help teams improve operational processes
- Proficient at software implementation and architecture with experience designing Workday systems and custom integrations to support third-party applications

Compensation for this full-time position is between $134,500 to 201,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
