Intercom is seeking an experienced, curious and motivated Zuora Systems Administrator to join our growing Financial Systems team. Serving as a key strategic partner to our Finance and Accounting, Product, Sales, and Engineering stakeholders, this individual will play a critical role in re-architecture and maintenance of our Zuora system as a part of the Quote-to-Cash digital transformation process. You’ll collaborate with teams across the entire company, and have the opportunity to inform and influence strategic architectural decisions and have an immediate impact in a high growth and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience implementing, enhancing, and supporting Zuora, combined with a strong understanding of subscription based business operations and SaaS OtC operations and metrics such as ARR, Churn, CAC, Net Revenue Retention and LTV. What will I be doing? 🚀 
  • Manage the Zuora platform and serve as primary point of contact for Zuora support
  • Complete complex configuration including building and maintaining workflows, integrations, reports and dashboards, user roles, and other similar tasks
  • Respond to user application issues and enhancement requests in accordance to defined SLAs; work with vendor support organizations as appropriate to support internal teams
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across Business Systems, Engineering, and Accounting to capture business requirements and translate them into impactful and scalable solutions 
  • Inform, advise and influence strategic architectural decisions for  the Order-to-Cash tech stack to ensure alignment with business initiatives and needs
  • Complete testing during system implementation and optimization projects, and regression testing for scheduled system releases
  • Create systems documentation, including architectural design documentation, business requirements documents, functional design documents, user manuals, test scripts and training materials
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills relating to your functional domain to make relevant and impactful recommendations for process, service improvements, and efficiencies
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed
What skills do I need? 📖
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Zuora Systems Administrator
  • Experience completing complex configuration and optimization projects including building and enhancing workflows, managing integrations, and completing complex reporting
  • Thorough understanding of the Quote-to-Cash business processes, from sales quoting to revenue recognition and cash application
  • Familiarity with CPQ tools and how they integrate with Zuora
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to effectively balance multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to maintain confidentiality and build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Bonus Skills 🙌
  • Zuora Administration and/or Billing Certified
  • Zuora implementation experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce, CPQ and Netsuite
  • Experience with compliance frameworks, including SOX and SSAE16 SOC
