Senior Zuora Solutions Architect

This role sits at the core of subscription billing and revenue operations, driving the design and optimization of end-to-end order-to-cash processes in a SaaS environment. You will take ownership of Zuora Billing architecture, ensuring scalable and efficient configuration across billing, invoicing, payments, and revenue workflows. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering, you will translate business needs into robust technical solutions. The environment is highly collaborative and process-driven, with a strong focus on system reliability, automation, and integration quality. You will play a key role in improving how subscription lifecycle systems operate, particularly across Zuora and Salesforce ecosystems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex billing challenges while shaping enterprise-grade financial systems.

• Configure, customize, and maintain Zuora Billing, including product catalog setup, rate plans, subscriptions, invoicing, taxation, payments, and related workflows.
• Design and support end-to-end order-to-revenue processes, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency across systems.
• Build and maintain integrations between Zuora and Salesforce, including data flows, workflows, custom fields, and migration activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective solutions to improve system stability.
• Collaborate with Finance, RevOps, Sales, and Engineering teams to align billing architecture with business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure all system changes follow governance, compliance, and best practice standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering teams.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Zuora Billing in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Zuora Orders and Orders API, including subscription lifecycle management.
• Experience documenting solutions, building POCs, and analyzing complex system issues.
• Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes and integration with platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and payment/tax systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with core finance processes such as Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report is desirable.
