Senior/Principal Product Manager, Compliance

With the rapid growth and expansion of Roblox globally, there has been a significant increase in the complexity in our product’s compliance requirements across the board. Compliance impacts just about every feature within Roblox and is critical to building a trusted, safe platform for our community. As the product lead for compliance, you will have the unique opportunity to build and scale a team to drive compliance initiatives across the company.

Role is based in our San Mateo, CA (no remote option) with in-office days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. 

You Will:

• Lead the global compliance strategy for all of Roblox
• Work closely with Legal, Public Policy, International teams to understand the regulatory landscape and align on our compliance priorities
• Influence feature team roadmaps through effective communication and teamwork
• Distill business and compliance requirements into scalable global product needs, drafting product requirements in partnership with feature teams
• Track and monitor compliance efforts across the company
• Own the transparency reporting processes and infrastructure
• Report to Senior Director, Product 

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience in product development roles
• Experience working in the field of privacy and/or compliance, interfacing with both internal legal/policy orgs as well as external organizations (such as regulatory agencies, NGOs, etc)
• Ability to navigate and assess complex legal/regulatory requirements and form strong product opinions on how to achieve compliance
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate your vision to c-staff level executives, cross functional partners, and other key stakeholders
• Prior experience hiring/managing a team and being an amazing mentor
