Senior/Principal Product Manager, Marketplace Shopping & Expression

Our Marketplace is a critical component of Roblox’s economy, accounting for a third of economic activity on the platform. As a Senior/Principal Product Manager on Marketplace, you will have a front seat at shaping the future of consumer shopping for tens of millions of people.

You will:

• Build consumer products that improve core shopping features, self-expression, dressing your avatar and sharing/inspiring content with the community

• Get hands-on with our community, understand their needs, and partner with the engineers, designers and data scientists to build roadmaps

• Balance the needs of a two-sided Marketplace, constantly striving to deliver for our community and consumers, while using a combination of data and research to inform and refine decisions

• Excel at both the strategic/visionary level and hands-on execution, actively participating in the detailed aspects of the process to ensure the success of the product

• Defend your point of view when faced with skepticism. Remain open to feedback and be willing to adapt your ideas to produce the best possible outcome.

You have:

• 6+ years of Product Management experience overseeing a broad portfolio of products with a focus on shipping high quality, delightful consumer experiences with social and community mechanics

• A robust understanding of business operations and product insights, showcasing a track record of achieving significant business growth and enhancing engagement/revenue metrics through inventive consumer products

• Interdisciplinary experience. In addition to the standard product functions of design and engineering, you have experience working within a multidimensional environment including analytics, business development, communications/PR, and marketing

• Skills to convey complex ideas through written, visual, and verbal communication, always focusing on the reasons behind everything you do. Those skills transition from the detailed and technical for specs to the inspirational for strategic presentations
