Senior/Staff Product Engineer - New Initiatives, (Reports to CTO)

What You’ll Be Doing: 

You’ll be working directly with our CTO and other members of our executive team to scope out new opportunities for the business. Your work will span data visualization, machine learning, prototyping, and more. This is a great role for past founders or future founders who want to build and learn quickly. 

• Drive end-to-end design and implementation of product requirements including task break-down, delivery, testing, monitoring, and maintenance in a 0:1 capacity.
• Consistently generate simple and elegant designs, and write high-quality code that can be easily understood and leveraged by others.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering to turn feature/product specs into reality as well as with the partnerships team to build demos for partners
• Influence the features and direction of the platform with your own ideas and proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes.
• Work with the executive team to brainstorm technical solutions to business initiatives 

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You Have: 

• You have experience shipping code for 7+ years
• You have a B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Have a strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, software and system design
• Experience driving multi-quarter and multi-team initiatives or projects forward
• Are successful at communicating with cross-functional and executive stakeholders and can communicate complicated technical concepts to a wide audience. You’re comfortable putting pen to paper to share ideas.
• Have experience with python, react, applied ML, and data visualization  
• Bonus: Past founder or strong entrepreneurial background 

The base salary range for this role is $180,000-225,000
