Why You Should Join the Performance Marketing Team
We’re looking for a talented SEO Manager to join our growing Performance Marketing team. As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive growth for the business. Specifically, you will monitor site performance, lead the technical SEO roadmap, contribute to content strategies and help to ensure a consistent, connected user experience as we expand globally. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Web, this role will partner stakeholders across the Marketing team and also liaise with international counterparts to support global expansion strategies to bring the company to new heights.Â
How You Will Make a DifferenceÂ
- Develop and execute SEO strategies with key segments and keyword intent in mind to drive quality organic traffic, conversion and revenue
- Collaborate on and prioritize key initiatives with Web, Content, Paid to ensure SEO traffic and conversion paths
- Lead site performance through range of SEO and site analytics tools, and regularly conducting comprehensive audits to ensure funnel health
- Define SEO measurement plan and reporting framework, and cadence to share with key stakeholders
- Proactively monitor keywords and identify intent for on-page and technical SEO opportunities that drive organic traffic at scale, which may include changes to site architecture, new content, informational and product pages, linking and more
- Perform data-driven testing to develop best practices and continuously improve user experience and website performance–to improve onsite conversion rates
- Define the technical SEO roadmap and partner closely with Web and Marketing Engineering to execute
- Consult on ad copy and content opportunities (inclusive of backlinks) with Paid, Creative and Content teams to drive net new growth
Who You AreÂ
- 7+ years experience in SEO management and implementation with an emphasis on technical
- Proven ability to investigate issues with Webmaster Tools, analyze changes in organic (and other) traffic to deliver business insights and recommendations
- Experience working in content management systems (Wordpress), Gatsby Website Development with react implementation and knowledge of XML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to SEO
- Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata and site speed optimization to optimize website performance
- Expertise in range of SEO (Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog etc.), web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B and multivariate testing, and web QA tools and domain/url management
- Expert understanding of technical SEO (site architecture, sitemaps, indexing, site speed, crawl budget, canonicalization, Schema.org, etc.)
- Experience working cross functionally with technical teams such as Web/Marketing Engineering and channel teams, Paid and Content
- Advanced capability in Excel, Google Data Studio and Sheets
- Ability to present SEO in technical-level discussions with internal stakeholders, effectively communicating and gaining buy-in on product opportunities, needs, and expected outcomes
- Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end independently and across multiple teams
