Job Description

Marketplace is seeking a talented individual with strong analytical and technical skills to grow our offering in the US for credit card information and advice to consumers. This person should have experience growing traffic in the credit card space. You’ll be part of an industry-leading team equipped with all the tools and resources needed at your disposal to make us the #1 organic site for credit cards.

Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with the SEO Director and editorial team to build out the editorial roadmaps and improve our content library
• Conduct SEO tests to help our understanding of winning tactics
• Conduct detailed keyword research and to find the most relevant topics with the highest ROI and gain actionable insights
• Monitor and analyze high performing competitor domains to provide actionable insight and opportunities for future growth
• Optimize current content including metadata, copy, and internal linking improvements
• Analyze existing content for technical improvements
• Monitor and analyze overall site performance including rankings and conversion

About You:

• At least 3-5 years of SEO experience
• Strong understanding of SEO in the credit card space
• Experience with on-page SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking and content briefs
• Understanding of off-page SEO
• Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals and site speed
• Have a passion for continued learning and staying up to date on industry news
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
