Job Description

As an SEO specialist, you'll contribute to our team by creating a variety of deliverables including keyword strategies, content creation, and multifaceted creative marketing campaigns. Ideal candidates will have a thorough understanding of SEO and be able to frame it within a larger digital marketing strategy. 

You will be accountable for up to 8 clients and will regularly meet with them to discuss strategies and results. You will utilize the best search marketing tools well and many other tools to help with project management. You will be expected to be in the office during your first 3 months with the ability to work from home after. Working at a growing company, you will be expected to adapt to changing conditions and workloads but will be provided everything you need to be successful.

Practical Requirements

• At least 1 year of SEO experience, preferably in an agency
• Create highly refined keyword strategies that lay the foundation for the rest of a client's SEO project
• Undertake meticulous research to understand the compatibility of brand and keyword strategy 
• Perform thorough, detailed website analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture, and site content
• Work side-by-side with our development team through the information architecture for web design clients who also need an SEO on-page foundation
• Perform competitive research, identifying what the client's competitors are doing right, what they're doing wrong, and how these tactics influence the client
• Conduct research for off-page SEO campaigns that build authority and indicate relevance to the search engines
• Excellent time management skills and a commitment to on-time deliverables
• Staying up to date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm updates

Beneficial Skills

• Working knowledge of SEO Tools including SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
• The ability to write coherent, compelling copy that is not only keyword-rich but also user-friendly
• An understanding of on-page optimization best practices
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, a variety of content management systems, and other industry-specific tools
• Familiarity with WordPress and an ability to stylize website content to captivate users.
