SEO Strategist

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic to our website. This includes setting specific objectives, identifying target keywords, and tailoring strategies to different segments of our audience.
• We are looking for a candidate who is an SEO practitioner and has done the ‘nitty gritty.’ The ideal candidate is someone who knows all the core pillars of SEO. Including:
• Technical SEO: Conduct thorough technical SEO audits and work closely with the web development team to ensure our site is optimized for search engine crawlers. Address issues related to site architecture, mobile optimization, site speed, and other technical factors affecting our site's search results performance.
• Local SEO: Optimize our online presence for local search, including managing Google My Business listings, optimizing for local keywords, and building local citations to enhance visibility in geo-specific search results.
• Content SEO: Collaborate with the content team to guide the creation of SEO-friendly content. This involves keyword research, optimizing content for search intent, and ensuring content aligns with user needs and search engine guidelines.
• Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and rankings.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance. We have our proprietary tools (Search Atlas), but it helps if you are familiar with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, and more.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success team to identify new strategies for client accounts and drive growth.
• Adapting to the role as needed.

Requirements:

This role must work in EST or CST.

• At least three years of experience with SEO.
• Experience using tools such as Semrush, Ahfres, etc.
• Experience in a corporate Customer/Client-facing position.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous. You are the most organized person you know!
