 What You Will Do: 

• Work closely with experts from one of the HVAC industry's leading brands to gather insights, information, and ideas for content development. Collaborate with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance in your writing.
• Craft story ideas and topics from research to gather information and data on home comfort topics. Write long-form articles, troubleshooting guides, maintenance tips, glossary pages, and more, incorporating relevant keywords and SEO best practices.
• Seek approvals and feedback from SMEs and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of the content. Incorporate their input and make necessary revisions as required.
• Write meta descriptions and optimize SEO tags on the website to improve the visibility and click-through rates of the content in search engine results. Ensure that content is optimized for on-page SEO in a natural and user-friendly manner while incorporating targeted keywords.
• Use analytics tools and other SEO resources to track the performance of articles and content pieces. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance organic search rankings and user engagement.
• Draft compelling copy for social media posts related to the articles you write. Tailor the messaging to resonate with the target audience and drive traffic to the content.
• Work closely across teams to align content with business strategies and goals. Collaborate to ensure that the content is reaching the right audience and contributing to the company's objectives.
• Manage deadlines effectively and prioritize short-term and long-term projects based on their importance and impact. Deliver accurate, informative, clean, and user-friendly copy within the given timelines.

  What We Are Looking For: 

• 3-5 years of professional digital writing experience, preferably with a focus on SEO-driven content.
• A portfolio of work showcasing your ability to create engaging and optimized content is required.
• Completion of a writing assessment.
• Familiarity with the home comfort industry, including heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and related topics. Understanding the target audience's needs and pain points in this industry is crucial.
• Proven experience in writing SEO-friendly content and familiarity with SEO concepts and best practices. Understanding keyword research, on-page optimization, meta tags, and other SEO elements is essential.
• Excellent research abilities to gather information on home comfort topics and translate technical information into easily understandable content. Strong writing skills with a captivating and authoritative tone that engages readers.
• Ability to respond to edits and feedback from the senior editor and stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, clean, and error-free copy.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as keyword research tools, analytics platforms, and content optimization tools. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with SMEs, content creators, SEO specialists, and the growth marketing team. Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to generate creative ideas for content development while adhering to SEO guidelines. Flexibility to adapt writing style and tone to match the M-Tech brand voice.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Genuine interest in the home comfort industry and a desire to help homeowners make informed decisions. Curiosity to stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
