Job Title: Server Administrator - HCI Stack
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Server Administrator with expertise in managing Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) stacks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in server administration, possess a Security+ certification, and hold at least a Secret Clearance. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our server infrastructure, with a focus on HCI technologies.
Responsibilities:

1. HCI Stack Management:
   
   • Deploy, configure, and maintain Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
   • Optimize HCI stacks for performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
   • Implement and manage virtualized environments within the HCI framework.
2. Server Administration:
   
   • Perform routine server administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
   • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
   • Ensure servers are updated, patched, and compliant with security standards.
3. Security Compliance:
   
   • Enforce security policies and practices to maintain a secure server environment.
   • Conduct regular security audits and implement corrective measures.
   • Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
4. Certification and Clearance:
   
   • Hold a Security+ certification to demonstrate knowledge in information security.
   • Maintain at least a Secret Clearance, with the ability to undergo periodic reinvestigations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
   
   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
   • Generate reports on server performance, capacity, and security compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required. 
• Proven experience as a Server Administrator.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies, and storage systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with leading HCI platforms (e.g., VMware vSAN, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Additional certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
