Zayo is seeking an Optimization Service Delivery Type II and Cross Connects Specialist for designing and managing cross connects, colocation services and risers for the purpose of grooming, optimization. This position also provides technical and project management support to the internal Zayo teams and end customers impacted. Oursuccessful Optimization Service Delivery Type II and Cross Connects Specialist must have a strong telecommunication background, customer interaction skills, and project management skills.
Responsibilities

• Designing and coordinating cross connect optimization grooms for various projects.
• Coordinating with internal groups to ensure these services are delivered in a timely manner and in the correct configuration such that the company and its customers are provided the correct services on schedule.
• Managing customers expectations and escalating as required to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Experience with Salesforce, Metasolv, Excel, and Asana a plus
• Coordinating with internal departments to develop and implement optimization opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar industry technical training
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Telecom industry
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
• "Self-starter" committed to customer satisfaction/project delivery and able to respond to rapid change within the business

Base pay range: $64,700 - $91,000, commensurate with experience
