Service Engineer – Complete Vehicle

Your Role:
As the Technical Service Engineer – Complete Vehicle, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to provide technical services, such as diagnosis, vehicle maintenance, powertrain, electrical system, body repair, and other repair and servicing procedures related to Faraday Future vehicles. You will:
- Have hands-on ability and skill to diagnose and service all FF products and systems
- Work cross functionally with all service and product engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of vehicle issues
- Manage the Technical Specialist(s) supporting the Vehicle Service team
- Have and continually maintain an in-depth knowledge level of FF vehicle systems such as high voltage, low voltage, and vehicle electrical systems, chassis and body, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other FF departments and members
- Develop and author robust repair procedures and Service Bulletins
- Individually conduct investigations into customer, vehicle, warranty issues and generate reports to support the service, quality and development teams
- Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive Users experiences
- Have the ability to work in the field and support the mobile service team as needed
- Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
You’ll ensure that the needs of our FF Users and our internal company are met by providing an exceptional user centric experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- AS with 7+ years experience in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years equivalent industry work experience
- Hands-on capability/skills to service all FF products
- In depth knowledge of vehicle systems such as High Voltage systems, Low Voltage Systems, Electric Vehicle powertrain, chassis and body
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of engineering diagnostic tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certification(s) - Master Technicians Certification
- EPA 609 Certification or willingness to obtain ASE Certification(s)
- Proven expertise with vehicle diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting problems on EV/automotive products.
- Previous experience with OEM Master Technicians Certification
- Experience with remote and Over The Air software updates and diagnostics
Annual Salary Range:
($95,000 to $120,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
