Service Fusion - Senior Application Developer, C#/.NET (Remote, US)

The Service Fusion Engineering team is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior .Net/C# Developers to help drive the modernization of a monolithic application into a componentized, services-based platform for our Field Service Management offering so that we can continue to meet market demand and produce customers for life.

You:
You are passionate about technology; you are a hands-on developer who has progressed into a leading architecture role. You are as comfortable working with other senior architects and developers as you are working with product owners, customer support and DevOps. You have experience managing multiple streams of activity simultaneously, you know how to define scalable, secure and performant solutions to complex problems and then can break those down into deliverable tasks.

From a technical perspective, you are experienced building a service-oriented architecture with .Net Core 6 and Entity Framework using a MySQL backend running in Amazons cloud. You are skilled at trouble shooting issues both in development and in production settings.

As a Sr. Developer, you have experience working with architects, DevOps and distributed teams in multiple time zones, that are a mixture of contractors and FTEs, and are comfortable contributing to and explaining a design vision.

Responsibilities:

• Re-development of an existing SaaS product with .NET/C# and microservices.
• Working with other developers and architects to produce a scalable, secure platform
• Working with product and project management to ensure understanding of all requirements, how those requirements breakdown into implementable tasks.
• Work with DevOps in defining runtime environments, resource requirements and automation capabilities.
• Participate in all grooming and priority setting sessions with stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews with the development team

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that this role requires eligibility to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years .NET/C# development experience, with recent .NET Core experience
• 3+ years working with Entity Framework
• 3+ years with message-based systems, bonus for direct experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience running C#/.Net Core applications with AWS API Gateway
• Experience in taking a legacy monolithic application stack and evolving into a services platform
• Experience in cloud hosted SAAS (Software as a Service) industry

Compensation: The target salary for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, location of the role, expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
