Job Description Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist supports the Power Transmission Services business by acting as a key interface between customers, sales teams, and internal technical and tendering functions. It is responsible for managing customer service inquiries, parts and standard service quotations, order follow-up, and contract-related requirements for assigned territory and accounts. The position contributes to service sales growth through proactive customer communication, quotation follow-up, and support of marketing campaigns, while ensuring a smooth and efficient sales and tendering process for power utilities, industrial customers, and energy sector clients.
This is a structured sales support role with clear processes-while offering flexibility to prioritize tasks based on customer needs and changing business conditions.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Service Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, and Channel Partners to support sales growth within assigned territories and accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to parts quotations, orders, reports, invoices, agreements, and contract requirements
- Act as liaison between Outside Sales, customers, and internal Technical Product Support and Tendering teams to ensure a seamless sales process
- Manage the full quotation lifecycle:
- Receive and qualify parts quotation requests
- Create and track leads in CRM
- Define customer requirements
- Coordinate with tendering teams
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of technical sales support or customer service experience or
- 7+ years of direct experience supporting sales of technical industrial or manufactured products
Desired Characteristics
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience following structured sales processes and maintaining accurate documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to manage leads and opportunities
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for order processing and tracking
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $79,100.00 and $131,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
