Service Journeyman Electrician

As a KC Construction Service Journeyman Electrician, you will operate in a wide variety of environments, troubleshooting, repairing and performing both small and large electrical installations. Our primary customer base consists of Manufacturing, Industrial, and Commercial. You will be expected to be highly knowledgeable of your trade, provide excellent customer service, be self-motivated, quality focused, and to operate safely and efficiently in the field with minimum supervision. Responsibilities: • Installation:Setting up electrical systems, including wiring, panels, services, time clocks, circuit breakers, and control systems. • Troubleshooting:Diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and methods, resolving problems efficiently and effectively. • Repairs:Fixing or replacing faulty wiring, circuits, lights, panels, while adhering to safety standards. • Documentation:Keeping accurate records of service performed, materials used, and any changes made to electrical systems (panel schedules, as-builds etc.). • Customer Interaction:Communicating with clients to explain issues, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered. • On-call:Service tech will be on-call on the weekends and evenings. Skills: • Proficiency in commercial and industrial electrical work • Experience with high voltage systems • Knowledge of logic controllers • Knowledge of Safety Practices • Competency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation • Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing electrical issues and attention to detail.
