Service Manager

Overview We are seeking a high-level operations leader to oversee day-to-day performance and long-term development of both our service departments at our pool construction company. This role involves a blend of team management, customer service excellence, strategic planning, and departmental financial accountability. Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and provide direct oversight to the department managers. • Maintain and improve departmental profitability and monitor monthly financial performance • Oversee marketing initiatives aimed at driving business growth • Establish and refine procedures to boost efficiency, service quality, and technician productivity • Support pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness in the market • Handle elevated customer concerns and service escalations with professionalism and resolution-focused thinking • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend compensation adjustments for direct reports • Foster training opportunities for direct reports and technicians • Stay ahead of industry developments and ensure team adoption of new tools and technologies • Provide phone-based support to field technicians in need of job-specific guidance • Manage repair and maintenance schedules with a high-level view of capacity, priorities, and technician capabilities • Establish and execute long-term growth goals Preferred Qualifications • Proven track record of team supervision or management • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, especially in customer-facing situations • Experience in sales is preferred but not mandatory. • High comfort level with technology and field management platforms • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Can you provide at least three professional references?
