Service Plumber

Service Plumber -Urgently Hiring Jay’s Plumbing & Service is looking for a plumber with a well-rounded background in commercial plumbing and residential service. A plumber with 10 or more years experience. We are looking for a plumber who can take care of our existing and new clientele, and who would rather do a good job and save the customer money than sell something the customer doesn’t need. For that reason, we pay hourly – NOT commission. It will be a consistent paycheck without the highs and lows. Responsibilities • Complete residential AND some commercial service calls. • Educate and assist customers in choosing the right products and services. • Present yourself as professional, patient, and knowledgeable to earn new referrals and repeat business. • Maintain a clean and organized job-site, as well as a clean, well inventoried service van. • Turn in service invoices, proposals, and time cards to admin/dispatch, fully completed and on time. Qualifications • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications and adjustments. • Experience in soldering, pipe threading, gas leak testing, leak detection, repairs, etc. • Valid driver license and clean driving record. • Physical ability to lift, carry, and/or push and pull object up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. • Ability to continually walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach in all directions, as well as ability to maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds, or lifts. • Backflow certifieda plus, but not required.
