Job Overview:
As a business analyst, you will work with a group of talented stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance analysts in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment to support technology solutions for Blackstone.
The ServiceNow team's mandate is to provide technology service, asset, and software management solutions to variety of teams in and outside of the technology group using the ServiceNow platform. You will be expected to gather requirements from stakeholders while identifying inefficient or nonexistent processes. In collaboration with the ServiceNow team, you will make sure that all parties (stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance) completely understand the requirements and agree with proposed solutions, process changes and/or automations.
Additionally, you will be expected to provide status updates written and verbally in addition to ad-hoc and coordinated training and training materials.
Key responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the underlying businesses and work processes of our stakeholders
- Collaborate with the broader team (development and users) to find acceptable solutions to problems including crafting plans and communications to users
- Creating stories that the development team can estimate and build
- Ensure that the team is identifying due dates for all activities and projects
- Use data to drive development and process changes
- Create documentation and present solutions to increase our teams' efficiency
- Identify any risks, recurring problems, areas for improvement and present potential technical solutions or changes in the teams processes
- Maintain support ticket status within SLA guidelines
- Work with end users and the product team to raise product bug fixes or enhancement requests
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional technology experience enterprise level environment
- Experience writing business requirements with stakeholders and creating user stories for developers
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM, ITAM systems
- Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Excel analyze data
- A problem solver with an eye for details and the ability to drill into complex problems to identify key factors impacting the issue and then providing remedial or enhancement solutions.
- You must have a process mindset to understand and analyze the end-to-end current state process and identify how a proposed future state solution can improve the current process.
- Ability to gather and analyze data relevant to the issue at hand and factor into improvement recommendations to make appropriate system or process changes as needed.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders and ServiceNow team members to clearly outline both technical and non-technical aspects in both verbal and written communication.
- Major in Computer Science, or other applicable technical degree

Expected annual base salary range:
$130,000 - $145,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
