About the project

ServiceNow is the “platform of platforms” providing digital workflows used by leading companies worldwide to improve and automate their internal processes. We are working on several types of ServiceNow projects ranging from solution and architecture design to platform configuration. Most projects are oriented towards customization of out of the box functionalities, integration with third-party systems and developing custom scoped applications.

Your team

The ServiceNow team in Accesa consists of 20+ ServiceNow developers and consultants with various levels of experience. We focus on providing great customer experience to our clients and offer a working environment that promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Your role

• Grow your ServiceNow knowledge, based on a strong foundation of JavaScript knowledge 
• Design and develop, scripts in ServiceNow in accordance to client requirements using JavaScript, Angular and Jelly
• Maintain and document created content in line with industry best practices 
• Deliver within estimated time, take responsibility for the task and its timeline
• Maintain communication with client counterparts in a professional and goal-oriented manner
• Share your knowledge with colleagues on topics such as design patterns and principles, software engineering best practices, agile development process

Our current projects are mainly for clients in the Financial Services industry for which we contribute solution design, development, business analysis and platform support expertise, in order to deliver business critical functionality in ServiceNow. Mandatory skills:

• Delivers within estimated time, take responsibility for the task and its timeline;
• Delivers high quality code ensuring the code fulfils the requirements, is well written, is performant and well tested;
• Has the ability to determine the suitability of a solution, given a set of technical requirements;
• Evaluates, assesses, and recommends robust software solutions for assigned tasks;
• Identify areas of improvement in existing programs and is able to propose solutions;
• Continues to learn and hone required skills as ServiceNow engineer
• 3+ years of experience in software development, ideally using JavaScript
• Good Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, HTML, CSS, on the ServiceNow platform 
• Experience with Database Modeling and SQL
• Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST)
• Good understanding of IT Business Processes
• Communication skills
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Analytical skills with great attention to detail and a solution-oriented perspective
• Commitment to high quality/error-free deliverables
• Team player, with a proactive attitude

Nice to have:

• Client facing or consulting experience is highly preferred

Willing to Develop:

• IT workflow automation and optimization on the ServiceNow platform 
• IT process knowledge using frameworks such as ITIL
