Job Description

In this role you will work to create a best-in-class marketing workflow solution built on ServiceNow. You will empower marketers to save time, deliver improved results, and to know what campaigns they should be running. Together with the Head of Engineering, you will develop the features that will be included in the ServiceNow Store certified application that is installed by customers. You will work alongside our UI developers to create a stunning visual interface that will delight marketers and make the transition to a ServiceNow application simple.

Responsibilities
  • Developing, installing, and troubleshooting Scoped ServiceNow applications.
  • Assisting in maintaining detailed documentation of application design, logic and code to train other developers on the application
  • Working on the creation of Workflows from scratch and customizing the existing workflows and workflow activities based on the business requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining catalog items, record producers, inbound actions, custom reports, scheduled reports, and dashboards.
  • Developing import sets, data sources, transform maps for data loads and management.
  • Creating and using update sets, Remote Instance, and Team Dashboard to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
  • Performing code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met with regard to coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security.
Qualifications
  • Must be fluent with JavaScript, GlideRecord, and Service Portal
  • Must have working knowledge in creation/updating of Business Rules, Client Scripts, Glide Ajax, Script Includes, JSON, UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Pages and Access Control Lists
  • Experience in implementation and enhancement of modules like Event Trigger, Email notifications, Email Templates, Dictionary Overrides, Reference Qualifiers, Workflows, Database Views, Dictionary Attributes, and Views
  • 2+ years - Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator; Certified Application Developer; Certified Implementer; or other ServiceNow Certifications
  • Experience with Now Experience UI Framework and Service Portal
  • Knowledge of React, Redux, and AngularJS frameworks
  • Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies including Scrum and Agile
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and/or implementing one or more of the following ServiceNow capabilities: Platform Management in a federated environment, Performance Analytics, Vulnerability Management, Configuration Compliance, Threat Intelligence, Service Catalog, Workflow, Integration Hub, Configuration Management, Software Asset Management, Service Mapping, HR Service Delivery, Integrated Risk Management/Governance, Risk, & Control, or Workspaces.
  • Demonstrable experience in setup of ServiceNow integration with SOAP, REST, LDAP, SSO, email, or PowerShell.
  • Experience building secure web applications with user authentication

For California and New York City-based candidates, the salary range for this position is $130k-$170k base salary.  The proposed salary for the selected candidate will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market requirements, experience, training, and education.  Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of California and New York City may differ.
