Job Purpose
Are you looking for a fun and challenging job in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an immediate need for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer. You will report to the Business Applications Manager. As the owner of ServiceNow you will support the cross functional needs of the MX. You will be responsible to help increase the efficiency of process workflow across the organization.
Job Duties
- Own ServiceNow from top to bottom including architecting and developing solutions to meet the cross functional needs of MX
- Work with a team of talented professionals across all business functions to build MX using ServiceNow solutions
- Consult as the system expert with internal stakeholders to find solutions for any system challenge, change, and process issues
- Analyze all components, processes and solutions and iteratively implement improvements
- Train and build others' proficiency in ServiceNow use and development
- Monitor system health and performance
- Evangelize ServiceNow capabilities across the organization and partner with teams and team members on lasting scalable solutions
- Ensure data integrity exists and persists for all inputs, outputs and throughout not only ServiceNow but other systems and processes
- Consistently work with functional leads to identify opportunities for improvement, prioritize projects and implement necessary changes
- Help develop, implement, tune, and harden all business processes
- Own change management for ServiceNow including all configurations changes, upgrades, additional modules, etc.
- Assist with cross team development work as priority or urgency dictates
- Own and manage the ServiceNow corporate relationships including helping with contract negotiations, QBRs, escalating Incidents to ServiceNow support and managing upgrades
- Ensure ServiceNow new releases go-live successfully in production
- Help lead security audits for permissioning
- Develop ServiceNow user personas and ensure all stakeholders are represented
- Drive up ServiceNow user experience satisfaction
- Collaborate with People Development in identifying and designing outstanding training modules as well as the delivery of ServiceNow training
Job Requirements
- Aptitude and passion for all things ServiceNow
- 4+ years of experience with javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, RESTful API,
- 4+ years of successful experience implementing and building in ServiceNow
- 4+ years ITIL training and experience
- Familiarity with tracking regulator controls identified in SOC 2 Type II, PCI and others
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Familiarity with GitLab or other code repositories
- At least 1-2 years strong working knowledge of ServiceNow core architecture, especially modules such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, and Knowledge Management
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools
- Strong communication skills and team collaborative ability
- Using objectivity in discourse when pushing to reach challenging team and organizational goals
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders and building consensus before implementing change
- Building and developing predictive timelines and deliverables
