ServiceNow Functional Consultant

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for leading, with support, on the definition and delivery of Service Now solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to prepare and lead functional design workshops, gathering requirements and feedback.   
• Advise and support clients on design specifications based on ServiceNow "out of the box" functionality. 
• Collaborate with Technical Developers on design specifications which require bespoke configuration/customizations and/or integration(s).  
• Provide coaching and support to other less experienced team members.  
• Accurately estimate configuration effort (financial and resource) based on requirements.

Mandatory Experience:

• At least 3/4 years’ experience supporting ServiceNow HRSD implementations within moderate to complex, global organizations. 
• Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle from strategy to delivery 
• Experience working in a client facing consulting or service delivery role within the IT services industry and has had involvement in the development of ServiceNow solutions. 
• Experience in functionally guiding a (project) team in a significant workstream, project or programme, demonstrating strong project and consulting skills. 
• ServiceNow Administrator Certification 
• Understanding of Agile, Waterfall and SafeAgile delivery methodologies

• Extensive HR organizational knowledge

Necessary Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and written English 
• Adept at communicating complex ideas persuasively and concisely 
• A desire to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders 
• Natural consultative approach 
• Demonstratable advanced analysis and problem-solving skills. 
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 
• Resilience 

Preferred Skills:

• More than one ServiceNow certification (current)
