This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant - ITAM in India.

This role sits at the intersection of ServiceNow platform engineering and enterprise asset management, with a strong focus on ITAM transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Hardware and Software Asset Management solutions that improve visibility, governance, and lifecycle control of IT assets. Working in a collaborative, agile environment, you will partner closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The position involves deep hands-on configuration and integration work across ServiceNow modules and third-party enterprise tools. You will also contribute to improving CMDB alignment, data quality, and software compliance processes. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving complex platform challenges and driving operational excellence through automation and structured asset management practices.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow IT Asset Management solutions, ensuring strong governance, automation, and data integrity across the platform.

  • Lead implementation and optimization of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Configure and manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes such as procurement, inventory, allocation, tracking, and disposal
  • Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems including SCCM, Intune, JAMF, procurement platforms, and discovery tools using APIs, REST, SOAP, and MID servers
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow configurations including workflows, business rules, client scripts, and Script Includes to support ITAM use cases
  • Ensure CMDB and asset data alignment through audits, reconciliation, and ongoing governance activities
  • Support SAM Pro and HAM Pro implementations, including software normalization, license management, and content library updates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality technical solutions
  • Participate in Agile delivery cycles, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities
  • Troubleshoot platform, integration, and asset management issues while ensuring system stability and performance
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate brings strong ServiceNow technical expertise with a deep focus on IT Asset Management, integrations, and enterprise-scale platform delivery.

    • 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience
    • Strong expertise in ITAM processes, including HAM Pro and SAM Pro (preferred)
    • Solid experience with asset lifecycle management and enterprise asset governance practices
    • Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server configurations
    • Good understanding of CMDB structure, asset relationships, and data reconciliation principles
    • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript and Glide APIs
    • Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ITSM, and related ServiceNow modules
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and system accuracy
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments
    • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, or CIS-SAM are considered an advantage
