Services Offerings Product Manager
Introduction:
The Services Offerings Product Manager (PM) has the overall responsibility of ensuring viability and success of products and services by managing their development lifecycle and roadmaps. The PM works very closely with the Product Development, Portfolio Management, Business Strategy, Sales, and other supporting teams to provide vision and market direction for all assigned products within the TGCS Services portfolio of Offerings. The PM is also a leading participant in negotiating requirements with stakeholders, identifying risks, helping manage delivery schedules, and communicating with the product portfolio stakeholders on a regular cadence. The PM will be responsible for all products/services delivered to their customers as well as achieving the revenue targets set by Toshiba for assigned products/services.
Accountability:
- Research, study, and establish domain mastery of the Retail industry and its customers' needs
- Develop and manage market-needs based roadmaps for assigned products
- Cultivate and maintain innovation-focused product backlog
- Deliver against product roadmap milestones
- Win market share through product innovation
- Maintain and improve key customer satisfaction metrics for assigned products, including NPS scores
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day TGSC Services Offering roadmaps aligned with Voice-of-Customer feedback and market direction
- Plan, coordinate and drive the market release of new Offerings in the TGCS Global Services organization
- Embed with product delivery teams to help drive cadence-based execution with clear deliverables to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely, develop, and share Best Practices with other TGCS Product Management teams
- Support both internal and external stakeholders through demos, education, and product advocacy
- Actively participate in TGCS product innovation processes by championing new solutions that meet our customers' needs
- Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the Product Development and Delivery teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent combination, with some emphasis on Technology Management
- Demonstrated knowledge and deep experience of Product Management or services delivery via Agile development processes
- Experience driving technical decisions in ambiguity
- High sense of ownership, urgency, and collaboration
- Demonstrable ability for innovative thinking and vision for new solutions to customer problems
- Collaborate across disciplines to refine and iterate on product features.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills to effectively collaborate across TGCS delivery teams
- Ability to communicate the requirements, architecture, product value to senior executives and customers
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree focused on Innovation and Product Lifecycle Management
- Experience in retail software implementation, Point-of-Sale equipment, order management, or eCommerce
- Understanding of Retail and eCommerce customer journey and Use Cases
- Deep understanding of all phases of Agile Product Development Lifecycle with related certifications
- Ability to analyze data, derive appropriate actions, and communicate data-driven decisions
- Self-starter and self-driven individual who excels working in complex and ambiguous environments with minimal direction
