Services Software Developer
Job Description
The Professional Services Software Developer works to develop custom software applications and execute special projects in order to enhance our products and services for our customers experience. You will work closely with our Systems Engineers, Sales Engineers, and both technicians and product managers to coordinate with the various Identiv teams to deliver custom applications. Primary responsibilities include application architecture, development, and testing with a full cycle from design to delivery. Efforts will range from web-based interfaces to the use of SDKs in Video and Access Systems, to databases and IP communications. Some travel might be required to customer sites. Additional duties include providing technical support assistance to the internal Identiv Professional Services team on custom applications as well as customer-facing support on our managed SDK via email and telephone. Software Engineers must be able to manage hot issues by setting customer expectations, devising and implementing action plans, being available for customer support and professionally communicating to all parties involved.
Duties:
- Programming in C# with a strong emphasis on the full cycle from design to delivery
- SQL / T-SQL query development, debugging, and optimization
- Development of Web-based applications
- UI and backend development
- Application design, development, and maintenance
- Participate in peer code reviews and product feature reviews
- Collaborate with Professional Services Product Management on product requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of development experience with exposure to web, desktop and database
- 2+ years of development experience in C#, .NET Framework
- HTML5, Javascript, JSON, REST, Angular, Web Services using .NET/WCF
- Development experience defining, developing and maintaining both REST and SDK based interfaces
- Development experience defining, developing and maintaining UI and back-end applications
- Experience with Python, Mobile applications a big plus
- Must be proficient in writing Windows Services using .NET
- Working knowledge of the following systems: Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019, Windows 10 and 11, SQL Server 2014. 2016 and 2019.
- Exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to communicate and work with other internal departments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of team.
- Ability to enhance the technical expertise of peers via the development of system training, mentoring of new hires, and team content development.
- Ability to apply technology to improve existing products and systems at customers and for internal use.
- Ability to actively participate in team support by proposing and implementing solutions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance

Your salary/compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 annually.
