Summer Internship Program Our 10-week program is designed to increase future employment potential for prospects while providing a valuable resource to the business. This Summer Internship will appeal to proactive and self-motivated college juniors/seniors with a genuine desire to learn about the energy business and industry. This Intern role within the organization is a Services Strategy & Business Operations Intern based in Houston, TX. NRG is looking for self-driven, high-caliber individuals who can grasp complex commercial issues and harness information to deliver solutions. Services Strategy & Business Ops Intern Responsibilities include: • Support the Services Strategy and Business Operations team on a variety of Home Service-related initiatives, in support of our Home Services businesses, including Airtron, Home Protection and Goal Zero - the initiative(s) you support will be strategic to our businesses and in driving results • Conduct financial and strategic analysis, including business performance management review as well as product, business, and investment case development • Conduct market and competitive intelligence research - collect and review research, synthesize findings on industry trends and develop into high-impact communication materials, including summaries and presentations for business• Responsible for presenting information to senior stakeholders when necessary • Develop a working knowledge of NRG and its Home Services businesses
