Position Summary

Blue Acorn iCi is looking to add a contract Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC Technical Architect) to our delivery team. The SFCC Technical Architect is responsible for providing technical project oversight and thought leadership to the Engineering Team, Project Management Organization, and the Sales Department.

A key objective for this position is to interpret client requirements, business processes, and use cases to produce quality technical designs in the implementation, enhancement, and support of SFCC projects.


Requirements 

  • Technical ownership of assigned client project
  • Enforce best practices for SFCC development
  • Ensure the solution that is delivered is consistent with company development policies and standards.
  • Perform quality review of work products
  • Assist with architecture and design of SFCC solutions and integrations based on client requirements
  • Participate in project discoveries to provide technical support and to ensure that we understand client request from an engineering perspective
  • Initial technical escalation point for the project team and clients 
  • Support the project team through key project events (e.g planning sessions, release demos, UAT sessions, site launch)
  • Provide highly efficient development effort when necessary
  • Stay abreast of technical and functional dependencies across multiple initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud engagements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development life cycle. 
  • At least 8 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
  • At least 5 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Strong exposure to ecommerce domain 
  • Should have strong analytical skills 
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
