SFI Tech Lead Order Management

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce and Vlocity professional to lead complex Order Management implementations within a fast-paced digital transformation environment. In this role, you will drive the technical direction of enterprise-grade Salesforce Industries solutions while mentoring development teams and ensuring scalable, high-performance architectures. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that support large-scale operational processes. The position combines hands-on development with strategic leadership, offering exposure to cutting-edge Salesforce technologies including OmniStudio, Lightning Web Components, and Vlocity Order Management. • Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Industries Order Management solutions using Vlocity/OmniStudio technologies.
• Develop and maintain scalable solutions leveraging DataRaptors, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Vlocity Cards, and Lightning Web Components.
• Guide development teams throughout sprint planning, user story decomposition, and technical execution activities.
• Review the readiness and technical feasibility of user stories while ensuring alignment with project goals and platform best practices.
• Provide hands-on support and mentorship to developers, helping strengthen team expertise across Salesforce and Vlocity technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into high-performing technical solutions.
• Evaluate design decisions with a strong focus on system scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Support project delivery activities, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements across Salesforce Order Management implementations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in IT services or software development environments.
• 4+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership role managing Salesforce or Vlocity implementations.
• Strong expertise with Salesforce Industries/Vlocity technologies including OmniStudio, DataRaptor, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Vlocity Cards, and Vlocity OM/OM+.
• Proven experience designing and developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce development and related technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, SQL, relational databases, and ETL tools.
• Vlocity Platform Developer certification required.
• Certification in Vlocity CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Apttus CPQ, or Vlocity-supported industries required; Vlocity OM certification highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and technical estimation processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• German language proficiency is preferred, and candidates should ideally be based in Europe.
• Willingness to travel when required for project or client needs.
