SFMC Email Developer

Alchemy Worx is an award-winning, audience management agency specializing in email, SMS, and paid social marketing for clients ranging from the Fortune 500 to local market players. The agency offers advanced marketing services, utilizing both time-tested and emerging methods and technologies to secure a higher rate of customer engagement and retention.

Alchemy Worx is looking for an experienced SFMC Email Developer to round out a project team in this client-dedicated role. This position is a full-time remote, long-term temporary role, lasting at least 9 months up to 1 year, with the possibility of annual renewals after that.

What You'll Do:

• In this client-dedicated role, you will expand knowledge of the various SFMC business units, campaign, data elements, etc. - understanding this framework will allow for building more efficiently and draw logical assumptions/conclusions on new builds
• Code emails under the guidance of an 'expert' on the Alchemy Worx team, and handle medium-complex campaign builds, image resizing and manipulation, content matrices, and strategy, independently to a large extent
• Quality of delivered builds should be classified as 'production ready', with the expectation being that minimal edits would be required for the majority of campaigns

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
• AMPscript experience a plus
• Email channel subject matter expertise, best practices
• Email coding HTML/CSS with an eye for exact replication of designs, including mobile optimization
• Creative / design experience to identify issues with creative continuity and handle asset versioning
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including image resizing and manipulation
• SFMC: operations & product expertise (i.e. email platform, DEs, APIs, JourneyBuilder, Content Builder, etc.)
• Projects:
  • Setup of new or modifications to existing programs and campaigns
  • Break/fix of existing programs
  • Program migration from one DE to a new DE
