Shared Service Accounting Manager

Manages all accounts receivable and accounts payable activities for the US business segments. Assists with managing banking transactions, accounts and relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy and timely processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions by the accounting staff.
• Assists in processing banking transactions such as, ACH & wire payments, executing letters of credit, performance bonds, hedging transactions and similar instruments
• Management of aged receivable and customer collection issues.
• Oversee employee expense report and corporate credit card program processing.
• Provides guidance and directions to the accounting staff to help resolve processing issues.
• Develops procedures and trains team members to adhere to company policies.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance initiatives
• Manages up to 5 direct reports.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS degree in Accounting
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting
• Understanding of banking systems, services and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Experience with SAP preferred
