ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking aSharePoint Developerto join our team in Washington, DC.
The Knowledge Management Specialist will assist in the development of knowledge and information sharing policies and procedures for the command's missions, functions, activities, and processes, with a priority on repeatable processes with consistently successful results. They will contribute to the knowledge management (KM) and organizational learning portions of the command strategy, and assist in developing the supporting strategy, plans, policies, and standards on all technical, functional, and organizational matters relating to information management (IM), information technology (IT), cyber security, and the integrated data environment. As needed they will perform comparative analyses of complex commercial- and government-developed tools and methods. They will also develop a robust and flexible OPMG Portal Program.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Mature and maintain a KM strategic plan to include (at a minimum) goals, objectives, and tasks supporting the OPMG strategy and information enterprise strategy and complying with DA and DOD guidance.
- Mature existing KM processes, culminating in approved programs using a comprehensive, phased approach.
- Define the requirements to measure the effectiveness of KM programs and track the metrics.
- Engage with functional leads within the organization to assure the consistency in communication activities and alignment with the OPMG Knowledge Manager's expectations.
- Conduct and execute community-wide briefings on behalf of the OPMG Knowledge Manager.
- Prepare stakeholder presentation materials including executive briefings.
- Apply KM principles to OPMG Activities.
- Manage the KM environment as an integrated enterprise to enhance capabilities and efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for the organization to leverage knowledge management and knowledge sharing to achieve better results.
- Capture best business practices by using process and knowledge maps, assessing gaps, and sensing opportunities and follow-up with development strategies.
- Research, coordinate, and implement the application of collaboration tools to enable more efficient and effective mission performance.
- Provide training on KM concepts and methodologies.
- Design and facility meetings that promote knowledge sharing and training execution.
- Provide users with self-paced documentation showcasing the opportunities to use KM tools to achieve better knowledge sharing and general work results.
- Develop and execute mentoring and knowledge transfer programs, to include sustaining and improving knowledge retention.
- Ensure systems are in place to maintain knowledge continuity when leaders rotate in and out of the organization.
- Develop business processes to create automated tools for use in organizational sharing processes
- Maintain Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- Maintain MS Teams environment, including setting up teams, templates for specific types of teams, PowerApps, and forms.
- Maintain and update the OPMG Enterprise Portal as the primary OPMG Portal.
- Maintain the OPMG Army Most Wanted Fugitive (AMWF) Admin Portal. Conduct weekly deserter data updates to the public facing AMWF website using the data/documents from the Admin Portal.
- Provide photo/video/livestream support of OPMG events that require streaming to social media accounts or Teams.
Hybrid,2days in office required, more possible if needed.
Requirements
Desired Skills Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of SharePoint 2013.
- Ability to upgrade OPMG internal systems as new software becomes available.
- Ability to create and update web-based systems and tools.
- Familiarity with the Army and/or functions such as law enforcement, criminal intelligence fusion, forensics/biometrics, physical security, high risk personnel security, antiterrorism, and detention operations.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 2 years minimum experience working in Knowledge Management
- Expertise in holistically reviewing knowledge systems
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a SECRET (S) clearance.
