ASRC Communications LTD is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Emerging Technologies SharePoint/Knowledge Management Support to join our team. This position is in support of our Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) customer, located at Ft. Meade, MD. The candidatewill performs subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and tests for a subsystem. Participate in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems discovered by quality assurance or product support and develop solutions to the problems. Support proposal efforts. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

Responsibilities forDISA Emerging Technology Directorate (EM) Knowledge Management

  • Update and maintain EM's Site Collections such as SharePoint (internal and external).
  • Make information easy to access and logically grouped
  • Interact with government personnel across the community of interest
  • Attend DISA technical interchange meetings
  • Provide technical and engineering support to government knowledge tools (SharePoint)
  • Assist in expanding the knowledge management capability and training as necessary
  • Provide knowledge, training and changes to programs within EM Sites; tracking changes to projects and SharePoint programs with knowledge and experience using a Change management tool
  • Train and assist on 0365 tools including, Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate tools in an Agile environment.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Develop, maintain, and administer SharePoint sites via SharePoint Online
  • Implement, deploy, package, and maintain custom-built SharePoint site solutions
  • Use SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create custom web parts, field, form, and applications customizers, and extend functionality
  • Create web parts, lists, library, content types, site columns, master pages, and search navigation
  • Manage permissions and data for SharePoint objects
  • Build workflows using Power Automate
  • Experienced with workflows, APIs, and JSON
  • Design, code, and implement scalable applications
  • Test and debug code, and review website interface and software stability
  • Troubleshoot software issues to maintain and update SharePoint applications
  • Provide training to staff and customers

  • EM SharePoint On-line Updates
  • Reports

Requirements

Base Requirement:

  • Interim Secret, must be able to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in building and developing sites in SharePoint online environments
  • Hybrid position, 1 to 2 days onsite a week at a DISA Facility
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately
  • Have knowledge and experience with managing permissions, especially when integrating the Power Apps with sites, and sharing apps/Flows with the other site managers
  • Strong knowledge of the SharePoint platform
  • Strong project management skills
  • Navigate and utilize JIRA as part of an agile software development process
  • Familiar with Git and Bitbucket
  • Fully understand and experience with Microsoft Sites
  • InfoPath knowledge is needed due to some form usage until fully transferred to Power Platform
