We are seeking a Senior Manager of Shipboard Operations Analytics to lead a team of analysts that serve as internal consultants to key revenue functions across guest operations. Oversee the ideation of strategies, initiatives, and performance analyses across the Guest Commerce functions. The Sr. Manager plays a key role in driving sustained improvements and operational excellence for onboard revenue, helping design and execute on pilots. The position also drives efforts towards targeted marketing and communications, as well as front line initiatives in the Shipboard Operations space. He/she works collaboratively with Operations VPs and leaders in Finance, BI and Data Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Partner with VPs in operations to design, pilot and manage front line initiatives for shipboard team members that drive onboard revenue and guest satisfaction
- Design & implement specific revenue, productivity, and guest satisfaction improvement initiatives
- Research industry trends, distribution & pricing strategies, among others with overall goal of streamlining business processes, minimizing efforts and operating costs while also improving team member and traveler experience
- Create a data driven culture and provide reporting for executive team while improving speed of access to critical information
- Collaborate closely with operational leaders to design KPIs for Shipboard Operations
- Provide inputs on measurement process to ensure business results are achieved
- Generate and deliver impactful analysis and insights that help support business goals and define priorities
- Lead the ideation of strategies, initiatives, and analyses across Shipboard Operations focused on driving onboard revenue and operational excellence
- Lead a team of analysts that serve as internal consultants to key revenue functions across guest operations
- Recruit top talent from leading universities, coaches, mentors and develops team of analysts to work cohesively, providing specialized support to business leaders, creating a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving that produces synergies among different revenue streams within guest operations
- Lead the monthly Shipboard Operations Team Meetings and follow up on related action plans
- Develop enhancements in the way that we report information on the ships and to the management team shoreside improving visibility into critical business KPIs through automated reports and dashboards and transforming transactional data into meaningful information to make business decisions
- Support the annual budget process for the company
- Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities
- Less than 25% ship-based travel
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
- MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience leading analytics teams at a top tier consulting firm or internal strategy group at a Fortune 500
- Exceptional analytics skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills
- Flexible and can work in fast paced, matrixed environment

The range for this role's base salary is $87,200 - $143,500. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
