Accountabilities
- Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor Shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Implement and maintain best practices for shipping procedures
- Track and resolve shipping discrepancies and customers inquiries promptly.
- Maintain compliance with shipping regulations and company policy.
- Collaborate with inventory to ensure accurate packages/shipments.
- Extended Responsibilities:
- Ensure all loads are sent with the appropriate paperwork
- Direct and coordinate the activities of wrapping team to assist in preparing orders
- Stage finished orders for shipping and load trucks
- Lead shipping teams to accomplish safely on-time, complete, correct assignments
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Reports any process issues to Management and works with other team members to solve and improve it
- Follows and encourage all safety practices reporting any concerns to a Safety Team member or member of Management;
- Ensures the quality of finished goods in the shipping process;
- Maintains a positive and collaborative work environment (in the department and across other functions)
- Preparing commercial invoices and custom declarations as required for international shipments
- Guides, supports, and ensures effective training of team members
- Shipping customer orders domestically and internationally using most efficient carriers and freight forwarders
- Prioritize the daily shipping to effectively meet customer needs
- Packaging of all outgoing shipments utilizing specified packaging
- Works with the design and NPD teams to make sure all new items fit in our standard packaging efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in international shipping, with familiarity in air and sea freight, preferably from Vietnam to international destinations.
- Proven experience in compliance with customs, import/export, and other shipping regulations of both origin and destination countries.
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures, including understanding export requirements, INCOTERMS, and duties/taxes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected issues, delays, or changes in logistics.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, customers, and external vendors.
